The aluminum-zinc coated steel sheet is treated with an aluminum-zinc alloy on the surface of the steel sheet, which is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon, solidified at a high temperature of 600掳C. The entire structure of the coating is composed of aluminum-iron-silicon-zinc, forming a dense four-element crystalline alloy coating on the steel sheet. Corrosion resistance Zinc has active chemical properties. At room temperature, it forms a thin and dense basic zinc carbonate film on the surface, which can prevent further oxidation. Aluminum, on the other hand, forms an insoluble oxide layer in the air, which acts as a protective barrier. In experiments conducted on hot-dip galvanized steel plates and aluminum-zinc coated steel plates with the same thickness, coating, and surface treatment, aluminum-zinc coating has excellent corrosion resistance and a lifespan that is 2-6 times longer than ordinary galvanized steel plates. 2. Heat resistance Ordinary hot-dip galvanized products usually have a maximum usage temperature of 230 degrees, and they may change color at 250 degrees. In contrast, aluminum-zinc coated steel can be used in environments up to 315 degrees without changing color. 4. Mechanical Properties The mechanical properties of aluminum-zinc coated steel sheets are mainly characterized by yield strength, tensile strength, and elongation. For a regular grade DC51D with a zinc coating of 150g/m虏, the yield strength typically ranges from 140 to 300 MPa, the tensile strength ranges from 200 to 330 MPa, and the elongation ranges from 13 to 25%. On the other hand, for grade DC51D+AZ with an aluminum-zinc coating of 150g/m虏, the yield strength ranges from 230 to 400 MPa, the tensile strength ranges from 230 to 550 MPa, and the elongation ranges from 15 to 45%. 5.
