Fix 1: Restore Internet settings

Revert back the internet settings to before. The process to do it is:

  • The very first step is to open the internet web browser.
  • After that, move to some website to check the internet connection. If the website opens fine, then move ahead.
  • Now, run QuickBooks Desktop and then click on the Help tab.
  • And then click on Internet Connection Setup.

  • Later on, choose the opt to allow the program to connect to the Internet.
  • And further, move to the Advanced settings and opt for the default settings by clicking on the Restore Advanced Settings option.

  • Lastly, hit on Ok button and end the process by clicking on Done.

 

Fix 2: Configure QuickBooks Database Manager

  • Under this process, you need to first, click on Windows Start button.
  • Hereafter, you need to open QuickBooks Database Server Manager.
  • Followed by, head to the Port Monitor.

  • Thereafter, type in the port number for the version of QuickBooks Desktop on the system.
  • Lastly, run QuickBooks and try the update again.

 

Fix 3: Change system Date and Time to the current

The process to fix the date and time involves the following steps:

  • Firstly, you need to take a look at the time and date on the taskbar. If it shows a deviation, then right- click on it.
  • Further, proceed to Adjust Date/Time option.
  • Now make the required changes and then tap on Ok.
  • Also, hit a click on Time Zone and choose the correct one.

  • Followed by hitting on Apply button and then click on Ok. This will save the changes and will also close the window.
