The intricately crafted 51-inch-tall idol, a masterpiece by sculptor Arun Yogiraj from Mysuru, captures the essence of a five-year-old Lord Ram, poised gracefully on a lotus meticulously hewn from a singular block of stone.

This grand spectacle witnessed the convergence of around 7,000 VVIPs from diverse realms across the nation, including the realms of cinema, sports, industry, and politics.

Embracing the conventional Nagara architectural style, the Ram Mandir complex sprawls expansively, spanning 380 feet in the east-west direction, boasting a width of 250 feet, and towering impressively at 161 feet.

The vertical tapestry of the temple comprises floors, each soaring 20 feet, supported by an extraordinary assembly of 392 pillars and embellished with 44 gates.

In preparation for the ceremony, PM Modi adhered also to inaugurate boeing sukanya programme to a stringent 11-day ‘anushthan,’ forsaking opulence as he rested on the bare floor and nourished himself with coconut water. His spiritual sojourn also included visits to various temples across India preceding the ‘pran-pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Mandir, culminating with a sacred dip at the Rameswaram ‘Angi theerth’ beach.
